Board of TrusteeM. Farhanul Enam Founder and Chairman Mr. Farhan founded JIBIKA on 5 May 2009 as an Individual Social Entrepreneur. He was inspired to develop such a foundation by his years of work at an M4P project of Swisscontact, where he has been working as Senior Business Consultant in managing and supporting number of private sector development interventions including access to market, business services, value chains, market linkages, business enabling environment and local economic development since 2007. Earlier in his career in enterprise development, Mr. Enam was involved for almost 7 years in several areas of Business and ICT leadership positions at different diversified sectors that helped him gain overall understanding of Bangladesh Private Sector Industry. He also founded an ICT venture named STEERWEB in his quest for helping society with technological advancement. During his undergraduate in 1997-2001, he remained involved with the world’s largest non profit and voluntary Student organization, AIESEC as Vice President Information Systems and Exchange. Mr. Enam has a Master of Business Administration from North South University, Dhaka. He is a Bangladesh national and has international training experience in India, Philippines, Thailand and United Kingdom.
Asif Mahmud Bin Tariq Trustee
Mr. Asif Mahmud Bin Tariq joined Katalyst as Business Consultant in April 2008. Prior to joining Katalyst, he worked as a Senior Business Consultant at X-Net Ltd, which is a strategic partner of Grameen Phone providing nationwide internet and data communication services. After 5 years of work as a marketing professional, he incidentally switched to the development arena and seems to have found his place here. Now he looks after rural distribution, rural supply chain and packaging services market under services division of Katalyst and sees how these markets could act as catalyst for growth of key sectors of the economy. Mr. Asif holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from North South University, Dhaka and currently pursuing executive MBA at Dhaka University
Cassia Mahjabeen Trustee
Ms. Cassia Mahjabeen is currently working as a business consultant for Katalyst, a market development project working in various sectors in Bangladesh for growth of SMEs. She is part of the media team which works intensively with media sector ( print and broadcast) to reduce the information gap and to create awareness for poor farmers and SMEs for better policies and services. She completed her bachelors of Finance from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and her Masters in Development Studies from North-South University, Dhaka.
Before coming to the Development sector she started her career in Brac Bank Limited and served under the retail banking division as a manager.
